HOWDY YALL!
Jasmine Pratt is a Caribbean-American prop designer, background designer, and visual development artist whose work spans feature film, television animation, live stage, and projects for Grammy Award-winning artists. An alumni of the School of Visual Arts, she is passionate about creating immersive worlds through thoughtful design, visual storytelling, and research-driven creativity!
Her interest in art began with the wonderfully strange stop-motion PBS series CrashBox, whose absurdist visuals, unconventional humor, and experimental storytelling sparked an early fascination with how worlds and narratives could be built through design. That curiosity continues to shape her work today, inspiring her to create environments, props, and visual concepts that bring the fantastical into familiar spaces.
When she is not drawing, Jasmine can often be found feeding pigeons, reading sociology research, or playing the electric harp with her band Resonant Frequency.
